Hi! My name is Kyle Lee, and I’m the new PAVA National President of 2021-2022. I’m a rising senior at Notre Dame High School. Ever since I was in elementary school, I followed my 2 older sisters to every single PAVA event. Although at the time I did not know what I was doing or why I was doing it, I always found myself having a good time with the community that I’ve learned to love. Throughout the countless years I have volunteered and been a part of PAVA, I’ve learned to work hard through planting trees and flowers at Bolsa Chica, persevere through the scorching heat of Cali, be confident when leading groups, and most importantly have love for the betterment of my community. At first, I always thought volunteering was an act of only servitude, but I've grown to understand that it is an investment into the community that will always find a way to give back.

In addition to the PAVA student community, the connections that are made through volunteering is something that has not only impacted my life but also the people that I influence.
As we go into another year of hard work and dedication, post-pandemic, I look forward to seeing all of you actively participating whether it be through Zoom or in-person. As your President, I promise to stay focused and make volunteering an enjoyable experience for everyone.
